Big Ben Butts built a rocket ship
to take his monkey on a trip.

Making it was such a pleasure,
that old Big Ben forgot to measure.

The ship was slim and sleek and thin.
You couldn’t say the same for Ben.

Ben was large, but the ship was small.
The ship was short, while Ben was tall.

The ship was skinny; Ben was fat.
He wouldn’t fit, because of that.

The ship was lean, but he was stout,
and that was what kept Big Ben out.

The rocket ship was really tiny.
It wouldn’t even hold his hiney.

Ben left his space suit on the shelf,
and sent the monkey by itself.
