The Midnight Train

Tonight i'm taking
the midnight train
For i'm going to
leave this town.

~*~

This place has caused
me nothing but pain.
To this hell hole no
longer will i be bound.

~*~

I am off to make
a whole new start.
For i need to find
a life of happiness.

~*~

More careful shall i be
to whom i give my heart.
For i don't want to
live in a world of sadness.

~*~

I shall leave past
memories all behind,
As of now new memories
i shall create.

~*~

Love and peace i know
somewhere i will find.
Far more then what
i could of anticipated.

~*~

My bags are all packed
for i am ready to leave.
Never will i ever be back
to this place of total decite.

~*~

My heart shall be set
free from this pain,
The moment i get on
the midnight train.
