If traveling life's journey
would be without you,
It would not serve any
purpose at all.

~*~

For there would be
no skies of blue,
Nor a shoulder to cry on
In times when I may fall.

~*~

There would be no
beautiful sunrise.
Nor anyone to keep
my heart safe and warm.

~*~

Only pain and emptiness
would be felt inside.
Regretting the day that
I was ever born.

~*~

It's because of You that
My heart goes on beating.
For now i have a reason
To welcome each new day.

~*~

Forever it is You that
I shall go on needing.
For it is Your light
That always guides my way.

~*~

Heavenly Father:

I thank You for always
walking at my side.
For i know that never
am i left alone.

~*~

I thank You for all of
the beauty in my life.
But most of all,
I am grateful to You
For the day that I was born.
