I am sure that many of you were not even born yet... But for the ones that were I am sure you have these great memories as well... The famous 57 chevy was one of the hottest cars... What would we have if not for our memories to look back at and smile... Oh our fancy hairdo's we had "The beehive, flip, page boy French twist of course the ponytail... I would go through a can of hairspray every week... The higher that we would tease our hair, the better. Our famous eyeliner with the wings.. Our fake beauty marks, Wearing a scarf around our neck oh wow how that was the coolest... Our first date, first kiss The prom, and boy can I go on and on...lol For those who do remember those great old days, Enjoy the journey down memory lane...(sighhhhh)
~ The Good Old Days ~ ~~~~~~~~~~ I have been thinking Of the good old days. Oh how life was such Fun back then... ~~ Parking at our usual spot At lovers lane, Spending saturday nights Making out at the drive-in.. ~~ Listening and singing To our favorite tunes. This song is dedicated To us you would always say.. ~~ Doing the pony, cha-cha And the mash potatoes too. Oh how we would twist And shout he night away... ~~ We had Elvis Presley, Paul Anka and Buddy Holly. And Louie Armstrong singing His famous song "Hello Dolly". ~~ Oh how I wish that I could Go back to those times, For those days were The best days of my life... ~~ Our pretty can-can slips That were really oh so cool, We would wear under our Poodle skirts to make it flow. ~~ At the diner we sit on The bright red stools, Then we would all line up To do the famous stroll... ~~ Oh how I miss those Good old days, For that was the very Best time of my life... ~~ Those precious memories Will never fade away, For in my heart I will Forever keep them alive... ~~~~~~~~~~~ By: Trixie Love (c) 2003

This took me back to being a little kid. I remember my mom ratting her hair...looked like Elvira! LOL...I remember these songs... the poodle skirts that my mom and aunts would sit and chat about... how I wanted one and saddle shoes too when they talked about it! But...the Fonz was my mmmm when I was little....well, one of them! lol...This was great.... I love this little trip down memory lane! Boy how the times have changed! Teresa
