Man made in the image of God was never intended to be a physical concept.As God made heaven and earth, He also gathered the dust of the earth and made man.God is not comprised of a physical image such as dust rather light.Our spirits share the light of God’s creation as man.The breath of light we call life forged into mankind is the image of God given to mankind in his likeness.
How dare we attempt to link God to the physical condition of mankind. Remember this if nothing more God is not restricted by time.
Jesus Christ, the image of God. for God was manifest in the flesh.

Because of "conditionings" it is hard for our finite minds to grasp the infinite. But, there are those who do undertand. They are the ones who must help us to get this understanding.
according to this premise, god created man to observe "himself" ...

The LORD God formed the man [e] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 Thus God gave man a soul and it is this that is in the image of God for it is spirit and never dies. Victor

When I look at any living being I sense the spirit of God...I do beleive that when we look upon life, the windows to their souls in their eyes, God is present....
