I got the blue's from my head to my shoes
Cause the tax man cometh,

I had a year oh boy what a year
But the tax man taketh,

I worked and slaved every gosh darn day
But I didn't saveth,

I didn't splurge but oh what an urge
But now I'm gonna payeth,

Now the kitty's gone dry oh so darn dry
But that dosn't cutteth,

Cause uncle sam that big fat o'l man
Boy does he sucketh,

Now's my concern, just what did I earn
As I go in debeth,

Cause life's uselessly spent paying this uncle's rent
But he's got my backeth,

Cause he knows whats right so why all the spite
We are the meeketh,

Now over the span there's always a plan
As we pay the tabeth,

But is this all fair, will I get my share
Of the big bank rolleth,

Or will they say when I'm old and grey
Your late for the party!!!

Enjoyed your views and snooze. Years ago, I got so dqamned mad about taxes on my business and on me an indifvidual, I did the best I could to NOT touch a third of the sao-called income. My accountant was elated... until, like you, I had a very good year... and owed thousands. Until retirement, I did better ass-u-me-ing that 40% was not take home pay for anything making money. Moral of this story: Where else in the world could we make that kind of money????? - Bill

God giveth, the tax man taketh, my version of a quatation from Job. I'm a pensioner and still have to pay taxes. Except we pay tax as we earn. Joke isn't it: pay as you earn (PAYE) which actually means pay before you earn. Victor

I recieved a letter from a friend, a real soldier fighting tax machine. I never realized the different taxes we pay. It's beyond ridiculous. It's dayumed obscene. Uncle Sam should be ashamaed.
We're in it together CJ.

Susan

Clever poem on a seeming certainty in life H J!
Keep consciously living each moment ... and you'll arrive at the party in your created time.
It's necessary to question how we live, And vital to be gentle with ourselves ... humorous if poss~which you well!
Thanks for sharing :-D
