Why do bad things happen to a good soul?
I ask myself the question while my tears roll.
Can too much goodness be a bad omen?
Or is it just the way of the human?

They say what don’t kill you
Certainly can heal you.
I must be the healthiest person alive
For in my pains I always dive

Pains can be like pretty flowers
Because they evoke creative powers;
While they embellish the mind with imagination
And move the soul to flourish with passion.

I think at the end, bad things happen to all
As we gaze into this wonderful wall
While staring at this great art called life
We’ll realize no one is immune from strife

There’s always a reason things happen
We hear this line quite often;
Whatever the causes may be
They’ll always be found inside you, inside me.

At the end greatness will always win
For it is like the highest mountain;
Life is always worth living
No matter what we are feeling.

So go out there and enjoy the day
Something great might be on the way;
You might not even know how soon
Might even come fore’ morrow’s noon!
