The imagery is fabulous. I think all of we creative types love the water. Thank you for this lovely poem. My computer has been hung up for a couple of days. I think it's back to commenting now.
You have brought a visual beauty to this splendid poem Eileen, you must have the same fascination with water that I do. I have three of Kinkade's paintings, all with the ocean and lighthouses, then my favorite Kinkade is one he painted for his mother "The Prince of Peace", I am lucky enought to own that painting too.

all life is in a state of constant flux ... our liquidity is realizing we are constantly in motion and the storm within us celebrates our enduring change ...
A beautifully penned, imaged write; I particularly love the last verse. So inspiring--thank you. Needed to read this, and am saving it to refer to when skies here turn black. :)
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

i've thought these thoughts before too, beautiful poem.
An apt and insightful narrative on the Water of Life, Eileen...
We have a water shortage here in England, with a hosepipe ban, which is unusual for so early in the year...rather scary to think...we should never take our precious water for granted...
I was reminded of that in the Mohave desert last summer, where water is of a premium !
Beautiful pen, that warms the heart...

Well-written, ET!! Moving waters, and sometimes still water, has always caused me to contemplate when I have time to sit and gaze. Your words are calm and relaxing. Excellent.
Makes me long for the Yorkshire Dales where the family have a cottage... which, alas, I haven't seen for about 4 years!! Sob, sob!! You reflect my thoughts with liquidity and lucidity... so much so that it might well be MY face you see peering back at you as you stare into all that running water... oooooooo, sorry.... scary thought!! :)) Poor leg!!! :(((( Prayers and hugs, Kate xx
Your poem and the artist painting, by Thomas Kinkade...are special.I admire Thomas's art. They call him "the painter of light". You are the "Poet of light" with this spiritual verse.

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about.
You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached.
