The wonder of enlightment
Where best to seek the ultimate
What priority to focus upon

Turning to what's tried and true
I go deep inside to meditate

Alas! I'm troubled all is dark!
Never before did such utter blackness greet me!

Silently I wait...

Feeling some numbness, I try to pray
Nothing is happening, I open my eyes
All I see is total blackness! What is this?

My mantra has deserted me,I try another prayer
Something within calls me to total silence

I begin to wriggle my toes and fingers they are numb
Something tells me to be still, I respond silently "I can't!"

Finally my minds eye sees a Raven eating something
As my vision clears I see it is a mans hand
I cringe yelling "No, no don't eat that!"

The hand becomes a note, the Raven flies over to me, and puts it in my lap

It reads: "Mans hands have bloodied the lands and now the tides are turning upon him!"

I begin to cry and the Raven takes the note that my tears have stained with blood and eats it.

I am in anguish and can't move, but I continue to sob until I'm sitting in a puddle of blood, and a voice says:

"What are you crying for"

I answer " For mankind"

The voice says"Your tears are not enough to wash away the detestable deeds of humanity. That's why you needed a Savior. You should cry for the Savior who is still rejected by man and must now deliver the recompense!"

I shout:
"This is too dark a message that leaves me chilled and unwilling to share it!"

The answer:
"But you will deliver it and  some will finally see the light. Those who don't, will see what they have always dreaded"

I lifted my arm to swing at something and awoke in my bed at 3:20 a.m. I guess it was a nightmare...Can't shake it...very troubling...I write it down for you to read...
