I slowly took the beam the sun
handed me and threw it across
the bow of the ship that was sailing
into the vibrant turquoise waters of
your cerebellum sea

Awash in the splendor of stimulating
thought, I sailed into the moodiness
of your matchless mind, knowing I
would find buried treasure more than
a benevolent booty

Invigorating phrases captured me while
verbs and nouns played tag with my
senses leaving me breathless as I tried
to keep up with the adjectives that made me dizzy

Seductive grey matter enticed my emotions with oceans of stimuli which caused a sweet syncopation that  joined rhythm and rhyme to produce poetic fusion to the exclusion of
all banality

We sailed on in the misty moonlight of verse luxuriating in the indigo night as stars shone bright upon our muse to infuse a myriad of bliss from the kiss of our first collaboration on into infinity
