talk about being caught between
a rock and a hard place

how about being caught between
two powers

both of which speak love

both of which demand your all

both of which remain inflexible

is there really a choice?

you would still consume my thoughts
if i gave you up

but...god would eventually re-establish
his rightful position,and help erase them

now, i feel more alone than i ever have

a wise person would go with the eternal
