This one is P O W E R F U L. In the latter days, the moon and sun will refuse to shine, and the stars will not shed their light (okay, okay, I'm paraphrasing here). Scary to contemplate...if we don't run toward the One True Light! BRAVA!

The cleansing purge of the universe, refreshes and changes the future of the earth; the heavens will be accepting only the dreamers and the believers, leaving the rest as slag from the smelting of the souls. Strong images calling for an awakening as they sting like frozen rain pelting the face. There is much to leave behind as we journey into enlightenment but let us never forget where our feet have stepped for we leave a piece of ourself there as well. Very nice work, Eileen.

striking imagery here - "acid rainfall" followed by the "river of crawling corpses" set the stage perfectly for your last lines, Eileen. you are such a visionary and capture what may well come to fruition sooner than we know with vivid writing. gripping! Dawn

You see beyond and you see the truth. The wastes of mankind is the bain of our children and grandchildren and nature will reach a point where we can no longer step over it or apathize the results of world greed. It won't be wars that does this earth in bit the trepasses of mankind upon this world. We can dream of harmony but it stays a dream unless we rebel and give answers.
You and me and Mother Nature are on the same page.
