I fail to see the necessity of people losing generosity Even a crumb can be shared If the people really cared What makes some become so greedy They won't even help the needy Giving shouldn't be equated To getting a return that's related It should come from a heart thats pure Not one expecting a return of more Charity like love is unconditional Otherwise it becomes polemical Examine your heart and give with cheer Reward may never be known in this sphere One day when you're on the receiving end You'll remember when you gave, my friend So when you are enjoying your thanksgiving Be sure to remember the key word is giving

wise words ... if the wealth of the world was divided eually there would be more than enough for everyone and there would be no crime, war, jealousy and murder ... the world be truly healed from the virus of greed ... unfortunately, the world needs much more evolving for its immune sysytem to defeat the virus within its own nature ...

Very wise words, Eileen. If we have enough to get by, we should be taking whatever we have beyond that and making sure that those who have less than ourselves are provided for. Every soul, be it human or animal, deserves to have food, water and shelter. I hope that none of us ever forgets that, and that we understand that real hunger only goes away when the soul is full and the heart knows unconditional love. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

We never had much growing up but we had love and we shared it always.The ones who have more should put a little harmony into life by giving to those with less. Hope you're feeling better Sis! I've had the flu...the old fashioned kind. Thanks to loved ones...I made it through moving and getting better all at the same time.
