72 degrees here last few days I'm ready to head for wilson creek beach on the Redwood coast
I'm ready for a day at the beach Grind my body deep in sand Settle in for a day long delight Feeling lap lap beating of the waves As my body dances to their rhythm Hope the sun doesn't get over friendly I like it when it's not too sociable Have pad and pen at the ready In case something grabs my interest Getting situated for some daydreaming Deeply inhaling the wondrous ocean scents Whistle hello to gulls as they pass overhead Finally rid of all the crap of the world I smile in peace at my favorite get away
I love it when no one is around to break nature's subtle sounds. Many places come to mind, but the Redwod Coast is as ideal as a sunny slope on an autumn afternoon.
LOL at K's comment. :) Not fair, but oh, what a beautiful place! Go! Rest! Relax! Refresh! And know you have a whole bunch of Denizens who want to be with you. Me, most of all. :) Wonderful poetry peaks the imagination. And leaves us dreaming of our own breathing space. Well done!

I find my peace walking through the oldest city, St. Augustine...with their little quaint shops and cobblestone streets, horse and carriages clip clopping by, the fresh sea breezes from the bay...oh I love the feelings it inspires...

You know it isn't fair to dangle this in the face of those of us that live in 10 degree temps. and many feet of snow! This is what jealousy is ALL about! lol! Loved it!

OHHHHHHHHHHHH hit 32 today but last week -26 so Iam warm not qwuite suntan weather I loved your sneek peek get away sounds divine. He is so good to us.
