Photo-Nasa calls these stellar lites

Poem Artwork

The evening embraced me
in a playful mood, dancing
around my attitude,swaying
in a rhythm of subtleness
giving  my imagination a
chance  to dress, the sultry
sensuous shades of night, with
my most passionate delight
in the fullness of sparkling
indigo, the stars spun my
thoughts in a tango, with my
heart beating like a bongo
drum, every cell in my body
began to hum,in the thrill of
a midnight madcap dance,moon
enchanted me with romance
finally into a dreamers nod I fell
hoping tomorrow there'd be more
tales to tell~ celebrating National
Poetry month this April, gave me
a crave to try a quirky quill

Amd you call this quirky. I call it a beautifully crafted ode to that old black magic called, what, I forgot, shoot. Well, anyway, I enjoyed this.

Like this, shakin your tail feathers here, Eileen! Very energetic and spring-chicken like. And may your quiver be full of many such poetic darts that rain upwards like a meteor shower to celebrate this most poetic month. Your visual makes me think of magical thoughts colliding, which is what the Muse is all about, I guess. Wishing you a creative month as always. LOL Kate xx

Well jig that quirky quill - this is delightful! Thought to cut 'in' from 'in a tango' when i read for a third time, bit more pepper i thought without it, but we all dance to our own toon, so offered only as idea - like so much reading your lines, thank you, Nicky x

Eileen,

Thank GOd for quirky quills. That's when the poet's imagination soars to new levels, and the readers are made richer for having read their words. I absolutely love this one. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
