I close my eyes and look within
words are there but have no skin
they have aready been conceived
hoping i'll give birth to them soon
so they can dance upon the moon
or perhaps journey to the sea
all they want is to be free
as I review them one by one
each of them hope to be chosen
they have dreams of who they are
can't wait to see if they are stars
I can't pick more than a few
poems read by one or two, at best
make words feel they're laid to rest
while the ones that were left behind
are still active in my busy mind
I wish that I could let them know
words are alive in constant flow
...creative thoughts resonate in this poetic piece...as words await the music...the given song...and with individual feeling...they together...spell life.

It is so nice to see someone honor words, those creatures that happily dance in our minds until we call upon them to express our thoughts and feeling for others to see, understand and enjoy. Wonderful piece.
You certainly put them well together once they have incubated and formed skin and are exposed to the sunlight, or even my eyes.

Fabulous job. All flowers do not get same birds, butterflies or bees because their scent and attracion are different. Words are the same. They dance, buz and sing around the beautiful minds. God bless you queen and know that words are all that you write!
