Well I am glad you enjoyed the month of July. We had a lot of rain here and it made it very hard to enjoy our new Harley Davidson my hubby bought. But we are hoping that August brings really nice weather as we head of to Milwaulkie for the 105th. Ann. celebrations. A great write of how one sure do appreciates good weather Eileen. Thank you for sharing.

HEY ET,july seems to go by very fast.I always believe that Augest is one the longest months of the year.Summer is ok,but I just hate it when its hot and humid along with bugs,hurricanes,thunderstorms,etc.I'm more of a spring,fall and winter type of guy.I like the when the weather is nice,cool and refreshing.I enjoy reading this poem.A typical july summer for anyone.take care ET

You know in Jersey we rarely see 3 digit days so I am not worried bout them...Rufuz hates any weather thats hotter than 40 degrees so the closer we get to those lower temps, the better he will like it...So goodbye July, seeing you go won't make me cry...Ed & Rufuz

August seems, every year, like the little brat of twelve children teasing you with a jo-jo temperature, storm tantrums and lovely days of peaceful and warm (but not too warm) sun downs.
My grandfather used to say that if the dogs wagged happily their tails in August it would be turkey for Thanksgiving. He was right everytime!

Looks like you are enjoying a flea market sale at the tables here. I went to a few this year. Cannot collect much more as downsizing and moving. Have enough nic nacs. Sometimes you do find nice toiletries you have to use though at cheaper prices. Loved the photo. Picnics are such fun too. Having another this Saturday at daughter Kaye's house.

Very glad you got to enjoy it, Tiger Lily! Truly sounds like those 'good old days.' For many it was filled with floods, wildfires, and 100 plus heat. And I hope August is very nice to us all.
