Poem Artwork

born under a full moon
infused with its beams
his life guided by dreams

like the tug of ocean tides
his destiny on waves ride
with many moods collide

his brilliance like the stars
enlightenment takes him far
he has earned his many scars

cursed with procrastination
still devoted to family relations
unsure of his destination

Yearning to reach his full potential
time growing short, still deferrential
never will he become conventional

slowly, gently, the tide pull of your work enveloped me -- there is depth to this message -- a man on the voyage of life, searching, searching -- a journey to perform and do right -- altered by distractions and often times, mediocre dedication to cause -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

A real Man In/Under The Moon for certain sure, Eileen! But never cheesey, right?! :)) And still reaching for the stars and always in motion. Reminds me of this Browning quote which I just adore: "Ah but a man's reach should exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for?" Beautiful capture. xx
