shattered facade

a profusion of angry obscene words
burst the bubbles of your champagne
and got stuck  in your throat where
they belonged

but even your body rejected them
as they spewed forth from your mouth
like an eruption of acidic vomit

as you tried to recover your composure
your  diabolical  red splotched face and
furious watery eyes, portrayed the
truth of your abominable behavior

so shocking when a facade crumbles to
reveal ones true identity...

Excellent, excellent. How true. I try not to live behind a facade, just too damn complicated. Whatch see is whatcha get..besides I don't like the taste of acidic vomit. Patrick

Yup! Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
You paint the scene well. A fountainhead of vitriol resulting in
"Acidic vomit" ... perfect simile chum.
