Poem Artwork

I touched the air that you breathe
and my body thrilled to the thought
I whispered to the night "behold
what magic you have wrought"

Enchanted by the stars that shone
pointing  to where you were
I allowed my mind to take flight
knowing what had to occur

Glorious supernal solar flares
Blazed across the skies
My heart was racing madly
with your vision in my eyes

The zodiak was scintillating light
like different colored gems
I felt thrills of an exciting  dream
or enrapt in one of your poems

The lights emblazoned, lit a trail
I knew that soon we'd meet
I felt the stirring  of your soul
as in my heart you beat

etw~

Fireworks your poetry is- the words blaze into hearts- then the sparks- we simply can't see them anymore, but then we breathe and that breath is your poetry again.
Just as I remembered you.

PERFECT! Your words and stirring visual complement each other wonderfully and you capture that enrapturement with exactly the frisson that suddenly stepping out into clear, night air does for the mind and lungs. Can see and feel that exhaled breath in both picture and in the sparkling emotions released in/by your poem. Intoxicating, Eileen, thank you! :)) xx
