Poem Artwork

The days that are dark and drear
Can be a relief from good cheer
Let your mind wander without fear
Cleanse your eyes shed a few tears

Give way to the storm in your veins
By releasing  the torrent of rains
Let your thunder relieve your pain
And the winds  release your hurricain

Soon you'll return to fair weather
Your senses as light as a feather
Feel like a romp in the heather
Now you've got it all together

Love that piccy, Eileen, and these lines - sometimes you just got to let it out and once you do, you feel cleansed. :) Well done, these StormSpinner kind of words - wish I'd written this!

A good rant can lower your blood pressure in the long run and put your mind at ease or make you feel like a dam fool but as always your poetry is right on the mark. Hugs. Rhonda sends her best to you and hopes you are feeling better.

Hey you chum ...
This, to me , is a great
metaphor for the cleansing
power of just crying. I know
I've done my share, especially
this last year - one of the hardest
of my life. Nice to see your name again.

Gee Wwiz Eileen
this exactly how I feel presently
away from home, in miserable cold and rain
a few scatted flake threatening no snow
vapor steam exciting my speechless mouth
as I am thinking of my warm sun shining home
where the palm tree roam and my lawn
stay green all year round
I am beginning to hate Holidays...... Bah!
Love & peace be with you

It's great to see you Buttercup and your positive side shows in this poem. I hope you're enjoying the warmer weather there in Cally. It's chilly here in Florida so I'm moving north to Savannah where I'm used to the humid winters.
Bless you and love,
Susan

HELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Eileen! :)) It's so good to see you back! And with this very honest and refreshing appetiser, too. Works for me - we've plenty of wind and wuthering down here on the Dorset coast at the moment but I was also thinking of spring coming again today. Hope springs eternal. I was just gonna mail you - hope your eyes are OK... mine seem to be coming out in sympathy. Thanks for getting my head in gear again this evening! Love and prayers, Kate xx
