A Forgettable mind has to be a terrible thing. It is something that we all worry over and often wonder about. I couldn't think of the day when I wouldn't know my children or my husband. I remember going through a brief time with my dad, when he didn't know me and It tore me apart. I know that I get upset when I forget the simple things in life, but I pray for those who has the terrible sickness that causes us such fear.

 

         Hello, My Name Is ?

In a Lonely room, I don't know where,
Sits a beautiful person,  all alone,
They don't fully understand why,
Far away from their familiar home.

They look around at the sights in here,
Nothing comes back to their mind.
People always coming and going,
Praying things will change in time.

Tears strolling down their cheek,
For something inside wants to shout,
I know that things don't seem right,
Please, help me, to come out.

That look in the eye, that calls you,
You want to hold them tight,
You want to tell them, It's alright,
It will only last through the night.

You visit, and hear the words,
Hello, my name is? then no more,
Then there is only  the sound of silence,
With tears, you turn towards the door.

Your heart it is breaking inside,
You can't breath for the pain,
You turn and look back for a moment,
The tears falling down like rain.

They don't know, they don't recognize  you,
You are a stranger, no emotion you show,
But the anger, you carry deep inside,
For this disease, that just won't go.
