We were sitting out enjoying the evening, when the rain decided to pour out of the heavens, shortly after there was a double rainbow with the most vibrant colours, it seemed to fill the sky with such beauty as everyone ran to catch it's beauty.
The Colours Of The Rainbow
As I sit to relax on the step outside, I felt a raindrop gently hit my arm, As the sky opened up to the rain, Gently caressing us with all it's charm.
I slowly lift my head to the sky, To embrace the cool gentle breeze, As it took over my mind and body, With the tickle of a sensitive tease.
The sky lit up with the sun so bright, With all the colours of the rainbow, It made me smile from the inside out, With the sheer beauty from it's glow.
A quite relaxing evening, With really no where to go, Your mind drifting of to another time, Enriched with the colours of the rainbow.
The stillness take over the night, Take me miles away from reality, Embraced by the rainbow of thoughts, Being caught by all it's beauty.
Charming write filled with colors. Rainbows are sent as reminders to us that there is someone--outside of us--who is more powerful.

Beautiful Sis and I am so glad that I was there to share it with you on the front porch. Wasn't it a beautiful site to behold. Not too often do we see a double rainbow,double the pleasure. I thought for sure your poem this morning would relate to that wonderous site.
