Those Miles Between Us

My son and his fiance had to part ways today but only for a few weeks when she will return to put their lives together as one. It broke my heart to see her cry. It won't be too long and their plans will be a thing of the past as they continue to live their lives together and thay'll forget those miles between them.

These Moles Between Us


The miles of road just lay ahead,
As I drive alone, you rest on your bed.
The distance is going the opposite way,
Until the time, I return to stay.

No more goodbyes to say,
No more kisses through tears,
Just the happy thoughts I have,
To share a life with one who cares.

Driving through the dark of the night,
Remembering the week gone by,
Just thinking of our wedding plans,
Another reason to make me cry.

One more moment to hold you tight,
Just to say I love you one more time,
Never regretting the plans we made,
That makes me yours and you all mine.

I love you more then you will ever see,
I'll be sure to show it in everyway,
So I'll drive these miles between us now,
So I can soon return to stay.

Mom - it broke my heart to leave Billy for just one second. Be rest assured that my affairs are being cleared up here as we speak and I will be once again on that long road back to his arms and the love of your family. I love you, Mom.

Rose, to me, young love is one of the greatest things on this earth...it fills the soul with a will, a desire, strength, comfort, happiness, and fulfillment. Those days are like eating the honey from a honeycomb and enjoying the flavor of sweetness. I enjoyed this.

LOve is so bittersweet, for your heart seems to beat as one as you both share a deep need to be near eachother, like a salmon spawning;

Tears shed from loving, mix with the mortar of the heart and solidify
the foundation of thier relationship. It is wonderful that while away from one another, the "missing" will plant the seed for longing, and, the longing will grow to be a mature, beautiful partnership. Thanks.They sound like a wonderful young couple.
