Funny how we all react to life,
Words said, things that we do,
Never knowing how we are taken,
By the important few.

Just by the touch of a button,
Known fact, we’re not the same,
Playing with another’s feelings,
Is not just another game.

We can turn them on or off,
We can hear them laugh or cry,
Become angry or just  back away,
The touch of a button, not knowing why.

I’ve believed you watch the words you say,
So you don’t lead others astray,
So others just don’t take you wrong,
With innocent words said everyday.

Love and life are far too precious,
The thought of ever setting them free,
Because of words said in fun or joke.
Upsetting words said innocently.

Never wanting or ever meaning to hurt,
Can platy a number on ones heart,
So like the touch of a button, think,
Before you hit the button that says START.
