When it comes down to loving someone from your heart, there is no crime of where it is shown, for we travel through life with each waking moment and love is a beautiful gift to share with that special someone.

Along Our Travels

Along out travels through life,
We find the time to jot down a poem,
To tell of where life have taken us,
Of the places we choose to roam.

All through the back roads ,
Or in the bright city lights,
In some dark chilled corner hiding,
Or into the hot sizzeling nights.

Trying hard to keep from trouble,
Following most of lifes rules,
Watching what we say or do,
Which to others may seem cruel.

A hug for this one or just a handshake,
A how do you do with a smile,
That sly grin that leaves a message,
I'll catch up to you in a while.

Behind the closed private doors,
Or some brightly lit public place,
Where or what ever one desires,
That will set there heart in full race.

Honest, down to earth love,
A gift given to share so openly,
To have and to hold so dear,
That love between you and me.

To have and to hold - a love that spans adversity and adds to life's enjoyment. This is what each of us hopes for, and you've written about it most tenderly.

God bless you. Kathy
