Hours In A Day
You get up early in the morning, Errands to run and people to see. Wondering of the hours in a day, Knowing there’s only one of me. How can I stretch the hours, How can I get these things all done. When there are only so many hours, And I see I am still only one.
Clean the floors, make the bed, Tend to the children who are at play, Run the washer then cook a meal, Stretch the hours that’s in just one day. Company’s coming within the hour, No time to rest a party’s going on, You put too much into your day, Too late to say you’ve done wrong.
Share a smile, put your best clothes on, It’s time to go out for a night of fun, You’ve ran all your errands and entertain, Wish you could rest, no time to remain. People compliment on the way you look, What make up can hide, you won’t say, Looking forward to your comfy bed, There’s only so many Hours in a day.

Sounds like you had a busy (and successful) day! You are so right: there aren't enough hours in a day, especially when you have so much to do! Very well penned; brava~ Now take a well deserved break; you've earned it!

Still Love you and notice I didn't mention anything about the type of party you held at 1:30, that's for another time....
Excellent poem, as per normal.
