When things don't seem to be going right in life and family, it is nice to just relax and reminise on the good things you share and the fact that better days sit just around the corner.
Reminiscing
Sitting back on my bed reminiscing About precious moments from the past. Times that continue to thrill me, Memories for me that will long last.
That tingle and that flutter, The sensations that deep inside I feel, For all the love so dear that I hold, I know for the moment that is real.
I rest my head on my pillow, As thoughts run clear as a bell, Some of the most erotic moments, Should cause me? You know too well.
I feel the heat inside just rising, My body on the bed swerve to a dance, Caught up in the memories of yesterday, That tingle, that flutter of romance.
My heated worn clothes begin to fall, To the floor as I try to cool down, Touching and wanting each other, Just can’t prove to be so wrong.
Together as we lay in each other’s arms, Dim lights, soft music, a glass of wine, Loving every second every moment, Of a feeling shared, that’s more than divine.
That's the way to go Rose! So much better than some do who stew over what's wrong making themselves miserable.I do the same as you,and know as you say "better days sit just around the corner"
great line;-)!
Rose, of course when things are stressful and sad we would look for comfort where we have found it for so long. Wonderful to have that someone where no words need said.
Lovely write.

Passion's memories have a habit of lingering forever in special places that we can recall whenever the heart needs the comfort of being loved and wanted. This write captures the essence of daydreams about nighthings as in an old country song...the words always on the tip of the tongue to match the mood we are in. Great sensually delightful write dear Cuz...
Memories so sweet and romantic. Your words captured my imagination, Rose. "Together as we lay in each other's arms, dim lights, soft music and a glass of wine..." Very sensual. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
