Although this is written about a gal
footloose & fancy free looking for that
special someone to come along and
Sweep her off her feet I am sure there
are as many guys out there suffering
with a broken heart as well, be patient.

Footloose & Fancy Free

There’s a song in my heart
That I must sing for you,
It won’t take me very long,
For the lines are but a few.

It’s about a young gal,
She’s footloose and fancy free,
When you hold her by the hand,
It’s so very plain to see.

Chorus
She can innocently steal your time,
 Walk right into your heart,
With those big blue tear filled eyes,
That’s where it seems to start
.
She’s as innocent as the clouds,
As bright as the sun above,
As soft as the morning dew,
And shares only her true love.

All she seems to want,
Is just someone to be there,
She holds a lost &broken heart,
please won’t someone care.

She’s but a little lady,
Footloose and fancy free,
When you look into her face,
You too will agree.

Chorus

Very beautiful song Rose. As I read it, I can see it flowing to the music. Great job. As for myself? I'd work on balancing the meter just a tad. Put to music by the right performer you could have a real hit with this one. Keep up the great work and God bless.
