Just a quick thought of how innocent a child accepts the love and care from another human being and how we can often feel free and without worry.

Like A Lost Child

Just like a lost child,
I am now set free,
To wander and roam,
Like the wide open sea.
To search for tomorrow,
To hold my head high,
To never regret,
Or ever question why.
 To always believe,
That tomorrow will come,
And one day I値l return,
To where I once come from.
One day I will find,
I知 again held in you arms,
Laughing and smiling,
Accepting all your charm.
Just like a child,
I値l again feel you care
As I accept your gift of love,
As you hold me near.
Know that I think of you,
When I知 far away,
Just like a child,
I値l love you each day.
I値l walk by the sea,
I値l breath the fresh air,
I値l soon return to my life,
With one I hold dear.

Rose--this is one of those poems that takes you there.
A childhood we thought lost is within our grasp with your words.
Its wonderful when our memories feed our dreams.

A photograph I could just look at for hours.. The beauty of holding on to those memories most endeared and to go back and visit as we wish is truly a most unforgettable experience. Wonderful imagery....

Be always safe,
Karen

The mind and heart can promise the fulfillment of many of our dreams.

Sometimes - I just wish I, too, could return to the carefree days....ho hum, if only -- but like dear Fee said, only the sea is ours for the taking our youth is but only in thought. Nice write.

Another beautiful touching write sis as usually. The freedom of flight for a child if only in the imagination.

Love you sis,

Yes the childhood pull of freedome and the ocean's call are a lot alike and your write today captured both. Sadly we can return to the sea but never to our childhood...only in our dreams.
