It's Easter morning and as I prepare for church and the many events that will take place today, I am very thankful for my life and the love in which I receive, I am thankful for being blessed with our five children and nine grandchildren, the many family members and friends. Those were all gifts given but most of all I am thankful for the gift of life which Jesus gave to us as He gave his life for us.
I want to wish everyone a blessed and Happy Easter. May your baskets be filled with eggs and your heart with love.
Count Our Many Blessings
Like the basket filled with eggs,
I place my blessing all in a line,
One for my life, husband and children,
The Grandkids we’re given over time.
The sun shine and the warmth,
The stars in the sky up above,
The blessings we’re given everyday,
Most of all being showered with love.
Old St. Nick, and the Easter Bunny,
Our family and friends like wise,
The blessings we’re given everyday,
With the good Lord in our lives.
The good times and the hard times,
That help us to really appreciate,
We have one life to love and live,
Don’t destroy it by letting in hate.
Love one another and understand,
God suffered for us on the cross,
Sometimes we too must suffer in life,
For our blessings not to be a loss.
