I am here in Nova Scotia visiting Fee and the guitars are always going and my mind keeps wandering to new tunes. This one is about one love daydreaming back through the years of when they were a couple, now that the other has passed away, the days are dark and lonely he/she is left alone with their memories.

I see the flicker from the campfire,
In your eyes it would glow,
As you whispered "I Love You"
The message I long to know.
You would kiss me so tenderly,
And sing to me through the night,
As you shared openly round the fire,
A love that seemed so right.
Then my eyes they opened,
As I sat there alone and blue,
A tear trickled down my cheek,
From a past love that I knew.

Great song and I know one you spent some time on, Nova Scotia is the land of the poet's dream and the history of love stories such as Evangeline tends to lead us to write romance.
Sadness comes with this write, but you are happy visiting Fee I know. Say hi to her and will here more from you when you are done vacationing and traveling. Enjoy the trip home. And come safely back to us. Missing you.
