There has been so many poems and writes on abuse here lately. It tears my heart out at the thought of others women/children and men being abused. How can we have a STOP put to it. Any kind of abuse leads to a mental illness as so many don't get the help they need and it can never be erased, damaging them forever. Only a coward will turn on another that can't defend themselves. Yes there are men that are being abused by their spouces and won't fight back because they were taught from birth to never hurt a woman. Don't hurt them, get them the help they need, women for your sake and the sake of your child/children walk away, don't accept this kind of behaviour. It has to stop. Do you hear their plea.

Please God Send An Angel

Written By: Rose Marie Rideout

I close my eyes quickly,
Maybe he won’t notice that I’m here,
Why does he chose to hurt me,
I’m just a child of six in fear.
Why does he tear my clothes off,
Then warn me not to make a sound,
As he continues to poke and prob at me,
Though he were a raging hound.
He snickers and he laughs out loud,
I cry deep within my heart,
He threatens that he’ll kill me,
If I tell from the very start.
Please I pray to God above,
Please make him go away,

Why did my Mommy have to die,
Leaving him to torture me each day.
I often pray to God above,
If He loves me please let me be with mom,
I can’t go through another day,
I know I’m not that strong.
He’s finished his torture as he slaps me,
Get washed and put on some clothes,
Then throws me to the floor,
You better hurry you little demon,
Before I give you more.
Why do my daddy hate me,
What have I done to him,
Please God make him understand,
Abusing me is a big sin.
I’ll pray that you can strike him down,
Don’t let him keep on hurting me,,
Paralize him now dear God,
Please quickly answer my plea.
He screams these nasty things at me,
Things a six year old don’t understand,
Making me do things that make me sick,
When I’m a kid and he’s a man.
Please God send an Angel to me rescue,
Send them to take him away,
I wish that I could die like mommy,
Before he tortures me another day.

You have discribed an abused child so well Rose. I have them every day and my heart breaks each time I have to meet another child that has been abused sexually by a dad or uncle or friend. It is not only dads that hurt their children. It can be anyone close like I mentioned above. I have had women abuse their children too. It always sickens me to hear the children tell me what happened to them by people that are supposed to love them.

I feel so choked up by such scenarios that I can scarce comment on the strength and bravery of those who discipline themselves to write on the subject. Yes, indeed... only angels are equipped to be able to cover, hide and heal these precious innocents... angels supernatural and born of flesh, those with the wherewithal to help them escape and mend from such hell. And who indeed can fathom the minds of their demon tormentors. This is the voice of Rachel, weeping in Rama. My hat's off to you, Rose. TY Kate xx

The child inside of an eighty plus years old man will carry those scars and pain until the end of the man's life. (worst if that someone were his own parents)

So very tragic and heartbreaking, and it's things like this that make one feel ashamed to be part of the human race.

I can both hear and feel your pleas, but sadly this cycle will continue. Children abused at the hand of an adult become scarred for life. Not everyone is strong enough to avoid the temptation expecially those who listen to the harsh words of their abuser over and over. Then you have government sanctioned "organizations" such as "NAMBLA" who promote child abuse under 501c. How can we ever win??

Be always safe,

Karen

This is a very moving piece Rose... and what you say is very true...it's just that society isn't always open to "airing" these subjects where those who need it most can hear them!!! Shame and shadows and family fear always is the root.. sadness all the way around... In my story... the child could not speak out...and when she did she was tied to the secret...the mother was abused, and she closed her eyes and heart to the whole thing...FEAR is a horrible weapon.. lindalaw

Mankind's inhumanity to its own is shatteringly penned in broken lines - well done, Rose, it must end now.

Your poem serves to show the "lostness" of mankind in this world. Sad, harsh and real and true. Thank you, Rose. Love and best wishes,

Heartbreaking reality for far too many; we have to do our part to stop this evil! Little children (or even men OR women) shouldn't have to put up with abuse in ANY shape OR form! Very well penned; brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! <

Very heartwrenching and would not be so painful if the reality of this write is that there are far too many little children who are in this same situation and can do nothing about it. You captured the innocence of a child in pain and that pain hits to the hearts of parents and grandparents like a solid fist to the chest. Well done.
