I wanted to share with you some of my sister's talent. Some of you know her from the Den, Selena Gillis_Dobbin. She is the author of "The Devils Residence" published through PA, not only is she a wonderful author but very graceful when it comes to her paintings. This is one 5 1/2 ft. by 8 ft. long, her back fence. Selena has a love for Light houses, the sea and Sunflowers which keep showing up in most of her pictures. Hope you enjoy this.

Her Talent Shines Through

Yes her talent shines through,
I’m sure you all now will agree,
As she shares her joy for painting,
Light houses protecting Ships at sea.

Her paintings tell a story,
So loud and clear to understand.
I can here her voice so crystal clear,
As the brush glides with her hand.

Her picture seems to come alive,
At night we can almost see the light,
Yes it’s so brightly shining,
At the ships it guides at night.

All the colours of the rainbows,
all the glitters in the sky,
Her talent sure shine through her work,
Now we can see why.

 

Not only through her words,
But from the tip of her brush with care,
Through all her many talents,
She so willingly do share.
