A Wonderful Year Past & Ahead

Here I am as I sit alone in silence,
I think back over this past year,
What would or could I change,
Would I ever dare.
I have made some right decisions,
 along with a few wayward ones I know.
Would I change a single thing I’ve done?
I have to say the answer is honestly NO.

Tomorrow is the first day of the New Year,
Right decisions I’ll not forget,
I have already decided through 2009,
I’ll not do things I’ll ever regret.
I’ll share a smile to all who are sad,
Do something special to make someone glad. 
Share my time with someone who seems all alone,
 As I welcome each into my loving home.

I’ll give food to the hungry,
I’ll give warmth to those who are  cold,
Bless all God’s little  children,
Give understanding & patience to the old,
I’ll volunteer my time and love,
To all who need a helping hand,
Not growing weary and tired,
because my time is in  great demand.

I’ll open my eyes to the bright sunny day,
I’ll smile daily, and pass it along,
Making a difference in anothers life
Tell me it can’t be all that wrong.
I’ll accept the decisions I’ve have made,
That took me along this path I share,
I’ll be ever so grateful for my life and
I’ll be ever thankful the past year.

I’d like to take this time to
Wish each of you & your families
The greatest New Year ever.
