With the stir of emotion, I hear your voice,
I see that smile you always share with me,
As innocent as the new born babe,
I accept your ways so innocently.
Good morning, I say with a sheepish grin,
Knowing the thoughts that occure in my mind,
Knowing there is only one of you,
Thankful I’ve known you for a long, long time.
What did I do before there was you,
A part of my life, I wouldn’t undo,
Important, as innocent as the new born babe,
The difference in my life & world you’ve made.
Naked I come before you with my words,
My smile you accept & my seductive way,
Yet as innocent as the new born babe,
Loving you as you love me yes, for another day.
Days and months are slowly turning into years,
Each day more precious then the one before.
Wanting to live life with you in it, accepting you,
As innocent as the new born babe & so much more.
