Sometimes your childhood memories can haunt you forever and then finally the day comes when someone decides it's time to bury it deep within the cold, cold ground. A house is only a home when it is built from love.

Haunting Memories
Still Remain

Roomers now have it,

They,ve torn it down,
All the sadness that was,
Will be buried beneith the ground.

The too long haunting horror,
The screams of innocent crys,
No longer need freedom,

For now all memories die.
Gone but never forgotten,
The dark that loom the halls,

The crys of little children,
The pain between the walls,
The little hearts broken into,
are now set free for good,
Within the  haunting memories.
Of a house just built with wood.
Too many years harmed those within,

No love and respect to share,
Just hurt and pain was suffered,
Too many days & nights of fear.
Roomers now have it,
They’ve torn the Homested down,
All evil that resided there for years,
Is now beneith the cold hard ground.

Sis this is an excellent work with words of describing how our old home was for us as little children. Sadly the hurt and pain, the crys of fear we endured there will never be forgotten. Thankfully no one else will ever know or feel the evil we felt within the halls of horror, now that the house is in the cold ground.

A strong sorrowful poem,that needed to be written.

As I know where the inspiration for this came from and the nature of the beast that you speak of this is all the more chilling for me. I hope that yes the burial of the house is also the death of the horror felt.
