I really don't find the weather funny at all and it is time for me to think of moving somewhere warm. The weathe guy says it should change tomorrow when my hubby returns home, now isn't that just dandy.

I’m Tired Of This White Stuff
January 29, 2009
Written By: Rose Marie Rideout

I don’t find it very funny
When the snow is falling down.
My husband is gone so far away,
He’s somewhere outta town.
Even the fellows on the snowploughs
Have a giggle through the night
I watched as they filled my driveway
With frozen snow so tight.
Now who can come to rescue
A damsel in distress, once more.
I am very lucky you see,
If I can get out my front door.
It never fails to happen,
Each time Hubby is away,
We have this frozen white stuff,
Falling day after day.
When is it due to stop,
I listen to the weather hoping it will be soon,
Tomorrow I hear the fellow say,
Now isn’t that a strange coincidence,
When Hubby comes home that same day.
I am so tired of having,
This cold stuff up to my ass,
I need to move far away,
Where there’s sunshine and grass.

You could always come out to Texas where there is one week of winter then you bake under a very, very hot sun.....

Be always safe,
Karen

Cheer up, Rose,
Spring will come amd bring its beauties of green growth and natural movement. I know it's hard to be patient but the wait is worth it.

This one is funny my dear....and a good one to boot.... hehe....
It's so beautiful here in AZ right now...in the low 70's and sunshine...I'm wearing sandals...but...in a couple months or so I'll be bitchin' over the H O T burning my entire body to the point of not being able to breathe...that's when I like to escape my place in heaven... Let's trade off sometime... hehe... hugs, lindalaw

Rose,

Perfect write about gloomy snow days. I remember those days so well. You'd like it here by your last sentence "I need to move far away there's sunshine and grass"

Sorry you're sick of the snow; well, that makes two of us: I am sick of the heat, or this "flip-flop" weather we have here. One day it's cold, the next, warm. It's no wonder so many people here are sick! It's crazy! I'd gladly take some of the snow off your hands; I love snow; always have, always will! And I HATE the summers here; the heat just about KILLS us!! I'd much rather live in a temporate zone!

Frustration taken well at hand, I hears ya...

Hope hubby comes home safe! You stay safe and be careful in the meantime!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

You're welcome to move to Texas, Rose, but I'm afraid you would wither underneath our Summer heat ... all I can say is, Thank God for air conditioner!! (would die without it) An excellent write of longing -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
