I haven't been close to a computer but I haven't stopped writing so here's one I will share for today. All is great and soon we will be settled in our new home and things will be back to normal. I do miss each of you.

As I Witness Many Seasons

Written by: Rose Marie Rideout

Even though the sun may shine
And the raindrops may fall,
Everytime I hear you speak
You know I’ll hear your call.
When the wind blows with fierce
and snow falls to the ground,
I’ll believe in my heart Darling
That you are still around.

I’ll feel your soft touch
I’ll hear that gentle, I Love You.
Again I will know dear
Why your words have become so few.
I see your smile in a distance
As you quietly fade away,
Knowing deep within my heart
Why you had to leave today.

When I hear a bird sing
or watch a beautiful Butterfly
I’ll know that you have returned
As I gently wipe the tears I cry.
As I witness the many seasons
The sun, the rain, wind and snow
I’ll go on trying to accept
The reasons why you had to go.

Sounds like it could have been a poem for someone who has passed to the Great Beyond.
