Believe me everything is great between Fred and I but he has a job that can be very stressful at most times. There are days when he comes home and I know he had to deal with a young family who just lost their Life partner. I see the hurt in his face and I feel it in my heart too.

I Watch you Through
The Corner of my Eye
November 11, 2009
Written by: Rose Marie Rideout

I watch you, though you don’t see,
I wonder is your pain, caused by me.
I see the tears you wipe away,
I wonder did I cause it to fall today.
I know the signs of pain,
I feel the anger that comes with it,
I too try to push that feeling away,
To calm life, if for just one day.
I need your arms to hold me,
I need you to wipe my eyes dry,
You don’t see as I watch you,
Through the corner of my eye.
I need you to be there for me,
When I fall down through life,
You are the reason I cry,
As I watch you hurt,
Through the corner of my eye.

I understand your emotions in this poem, Rose. Life can be such a struggle, and seeing the person you love affected by the negativity that surrounds us at times is a difficult cross to bear. Well penned, my friend.

Loving thy neighbor is one of the cornerstones of God's thoughts, a good man will shed a tear for their misfortune.

Rose,
The feelings are real and the passion gentle but intense, too.

Part of life is living with the hard and with the soft. Not knowing if "Thorough The Corner of my Eye" is true or the basis for a poem, as one that was married for fifty years, I learned, and the woman I now plan on spending the balance of my life with is the recipient of the thinking I now have, simply put, "it's not worth it!" I will never again argue! Right or wrong is usually a matter of opinion and, to me now, it simply is not worth it so I'll just shut up and let the heat pass. Later, when the heat is gone, the one that is right or the one that is wrong will usually admit their error.
Good poem, though, even though it brings back unpleasant memories.

Who's the man....who's the man behind the man? or woman behind the man? it's hard to tell, but I know that person is a Harley fan!! I see their shirt logo :)

and ahhhh...let the hugs begin my dear den sister, as they heal all those fears & wounds. They just get absorbed into each other & we are cleansed...beautiful tenderness escapes from the corner of my eye too...very emotional
