Christmas Wishes & Dreams

  I took a piece of paper,
and a pen within my hand,
I made my list of wishes,
To pass onto you, my man.
I wrote about the dreams,
I wished would all come true ,
The dreams of us together,
Yes forever me and you.

I knew that you would understand,
When you saw the white blank sheet,
As you waited for the nightime,
For into my room you’d quietly creep.
You knew just what I wished for,
You wanted to make all my dreams come true ,
As you wrapped your arms around me,
You whispered, Forever, It’s me and you.

For every light upon the Christmas Tree,
I’ve made a single wish,
That all my little dreams come true ,
Sealed tightly with your kiss.
I look at all the bells we hung,
Each one means something true ,
Each glitter, each symbol,
means forever I’ll love you too.
