As we stroll along the country road,
With not too much in mind,
We chat about the feelings we’ve had,
The love we`ve carried for a long time.

We hold hands and snuggle closer,
Knowing the need within our heart,
Knowing we were meant to be together,
You and I from the very start.

I see the glitter in your eyes,
As you whisper, will you be mine,
The words I answer yes to you,
In the quiet of our time.

To know love is to give love,
To understand is to accept,
To talk openly with each other,
To be honest and respect.

As we stroll along the country road,
You whisper words carried in your mind,
You whisper how much you love me,
We share our love, in the quiet of our time.
