All In My Day

Busy who’s busy,
Me? ….What makes you think that,
The sewing machine at the end of the table,
The pots cooking on the stove,
Busy ..No…It’s all in my day.
I’ll sit and relax a little later,
When?.. When I’m hemming those pants,
Who knows I may sip a cup of tea as I knit.
I should take a little time to…..
To tend to the laundry,
It should be folded and put away,
I could do it now as I unwind a bit.
Busy… No… It’s all in my day.
Yes…that’s my guitars,
I love to sing and play music,
No one really knows…but…
When they are at work, I’m here alone,
I take time to do just that,
Between loads of laundry and vacuming.
You’ve noticed my quilts,
I have done so many over the years,
When?...when?...oh yes when they sleep,
In the wee hours of the night/early mornings.
It’s all in my day.
Oh yes those are cakes for Easter,
They’ll look beautiful once I…
I decorate them after I cook supper,
After I finish the laundry
when I’m finished hemming those pants.
I have to take a moment to write,
Just a little something,
Something to share with you,
Just wanted to let you know
 What I do with my time as it’s
ALL IN MY DAY…..
