Lost & Lonely

There was a time when we had fun,
We laughed  and played in the sun,
We held each other till the night,
You took me home when the time was right.

I can’t see now, for I’m alone,
You left me here when you went home,
I cry my tears & freeze my toes,
I’m blinded now my tears are froze.

The night is near, I a'm still alone,
I tried to call you on the phone,
Your Mom says you &another are away,
I guess you led my heart astray.

You forgot to say we weren’t together,
I waited through the stormy weather,
Now I sit here lost & lonely,
Can’t bear another night with just me.

My thoughts, my heart beat just for you,
I can’t accept emptiness without my man,
I miss your loving touch,
As we walk together hand in hand.
