Love Your Children

A Mother’s love should be with her children,
A Father’s arms should hold them tight.
Together both these people,
Should make them feel secure & safe at night.

You tuck them in with an assurance,
That true mature love will tend to all,
The trust & care holding you together,
Keeping well behind the family wall.

No tears left to shed, no horror stories,
No fear of tomorrow will come to you,
For love & trust should work together,
Angry words should be but a few.

Few women are meant to hold their babies,
Some men are fathers, this is true ,
Innocent Babes need both together,
Feel their hurt because of you two.

Tell them you love them, that all will change,
You’ll see to it as of today,
You’ll change your way, become adults,
And Love will change along the way.

A Mother’s love is with her children,
