If You Wander Away, Wander Back

In life we may wander off in different directions,
In today’s world we are taught with the best of technologies.
Today more than ever we know right from wrong.
When we start to wander just like the GPS we still have our bible to lead us.
We know right from wrong, we have a conscience, which lets us know.
When we get that ache way down in the pit of our stomach or that voice that says
I don’t think I should have pushed it that far, we know.
We know we have done wrong and led ourselves astray.
We start to lose the only few friends we have, we feel left alone, cold and tired.
Tired of life, because we wandered too far, it’s not too late,
you’d be too quick to turn on that GPS to find your way back
so now is the time to open your Good Book, turn to God the Father and go back home.
It’s never easy to say I’m sorry, to admit you were wrong to another but
At least you will rest better at night, you can pray without feeling guilty.
You could stop looking over your shoulders for the rest of your life and you
Could start walking through life without always running from those around you.
Life is way too short to make it miserable for yourself, saying you’re sorry are big words
That make you a bigger person. It’s never too late to turn around and head back in the
right direction
