I'm Going Away

Just thought I'd take a moment,
To say good-bye for a week or two,
But I'll be returning,
I'll be as good as new.
It's just for two short weeks,
To visit family and friends,
I'd never want you to think,
This poem means the end.
It's that time of year again,
When I just need a little break,
Though when I'm away too long,
My heart begins to ache.
So just two little weeks,
That's all I'll be away,
Before you realize it,
I'll be back this way.
