I Feel no Danger

It is as dark as it is still,
I see you, off in the far dark corner,
I believe you are smiling,
as I feel no danger.
You speak and say the words,
The words I have longed to hear.
You have a familiar voice,
A familiar smile and then I realize.
I have known you forever.
You are my friend, my confidant,
my reason for being,
You are my heart and soul,
My every breath,
You are my love.
It doesn’t seem to be as dark,
The sky brightens and your smile widens.
You come closer, I have no fear,
For we become one love,
Together for eternity
as I feel no danger.
