Distant Friends

From one Province to another,
Friends soon become sisters & brothers.

They never forget & keep in touch,
They show they care oh so much.

Years can go by but it's ok,
They always have right words to say.

It may be goodbye tomorrow, 
They'll leave us with our hearts in sorrow.

As time goes by we'll keep in touch,
Because our friendship means so much.

 You always know who true friends are,
No matter if they live close or far.

We'll walk away with memories to share,
 Through the years we'll always care.

True friends are so hard to forget,
Leaving them is what we regret.

Years may come and years may go,
 Our close friends, we'll always know.

They're the ones who holds our heart,
They've held it from the very start.

Life just wouldn't be the same,
For friends we all know by name.
