We've Been Missing You

We've been holding a spot for you alone,
Because we miss all of you so,
Since you've left our loving home.

We see you in our dreams each night,
Because we've been missing you,
To us that don't seem right.

We hear your voice, it sounds so near,
We've been missing all of you,
As we wipe away another tear.

One day we know in Heaven we'll meet,
We miss all of you so much,
We know you'll smile when we meet.

Again we'll wipe a happy tear away,
Because  we've been missing you,
Together we'll be on that special day.

We held a spot for all of you alone,
Everyday we've been missing you,
Since you've gone to our Father's home.
